 The Secur-It is a great improvement on the traditional tie-down ring. It is of two-part construction. The bottom part is domed and made from anodized aluminum. The upper part consists of a spring-loaded locking mechanism which snaps into the base, and a swivel ring. The ring can swivel 360 degrees, and is rated to hold 4,000lb perpendicular to the base, and 2,000lb parallel to the base. |
